After starting to train with Coach Conca this winter (January 2013) I saw huge improvements in many areas. My strength, power, and speed increased over a short period of 4 weeks. More importantly my mobility, flexibility, and functionality all drastically improved. As a baseball player, or any athlete, those three areas are often overlooked, but to me they are the most important areas of training.Of course I want to be strong and powerful and fast but I need to be able to translate it to specific athletic movements (swinging, throwing, fielding,etc.) and stay healthy over the course of a long season. The attention to detail and expertise of Coach Conca and everyone who works at Conca Sport and Fitness are phenomenal. I felt great going into spring training this year and feel just as good as the season is about to start.
I started seriously training as a sophomore in high school but did not understand all that goes into it until recently. Working out with Coach Conca at a young age would be extremely beneficial. You are going to learn the correct way to train in an energetic, blue-collar type atmosphere. Coach Conca has equipped me and will equip any young athlete with the knowledge and skills to properly take care of your body on and off of the field. I am very excited to come back to Conca Sport and Fitness next winter for a full off-season of training.
