Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What’s the Nutrition Course all about?
A:  It is a 12-month body transformation program that guides you through important—yet sustainable—changes in your eating and lifestyle with help from an expert coach.

If you’ve tried something before and “failed” — or just can’t stick with it — know that you’re not alone. And it’s not your fault. After all, self-directed training and nutrition programs fail 98 percent of the time. Not to mention, we’ve all seen dozens of diet and exercise fads come and go.

That’s why we don’t follow fads. Instead, we teach you doable daily actions that are designed to fit into a busy lifestyle. We help you bring health and fitness into your life in a way that works for your life and your body.

Bottom line: This Nutrition Coaching style enables you to make fitness and nutrition a part of your life—without it taking over.

This program is designed to work on your absolute worst days, not just your best days.

PN Coaching isn’t about rules, deprivation or making you feel bad.

It’s not another “diet plan”.

Q: What does the program include?
A:   Our Nutrition Coaching includes:
  • A simple, clear, step-by-step program that tells you exactly what to do and when to do it.
  • Daily check-ins, learning,  and accountability.
  • An online program that lets you join us wherever and however you want. Miss a day or two because of work, school, or other demands? No problem. Not at your computer? Download our lesson podcast. In Australia, India, Sweden, or New York City? That’s cool — drop in whenever you can. You do this on your schedule. (Which we’re guessing is already a busy one.)
  • Small, do-able, essential habits that build over time, helping you integrate healthy behaviors smoothly and seamlessly.
  • Care, support, and expert guidance from our world-class PN Coaching team.
  • A supportive group who are all on the journey together.
  • A whole year of self-discovery, personal growth, and time-tested habits that will slowly create a healthier, better, happier body and life than you thought possible.
  • You are not alone. We are here with you. All the way. Ready to get started? We hope so!
  • (And if not, that’s OK. Think about it and come see us whenever you’re ready. The porch light is always on and the door is always open.)Q: Who is NBC for?
A: Precision Nutrition Coaching is for women and men who want to get healthier, fitter, and stronger — and stay that way for the rest of their lives.

It’s for people who want to…

  • lose weight and body fat
  • build physical strength and confidence
  • get results that last
  • and get off the diet roller coaster once and for all.

Plus, the program is designed for people with busy schedules.

Your coach will work closely with you to help you eat well, no matter what other craziness is going on in your lives.

We provide you with personal accountability, a structured nutritional program to follow, and a coach to help keep you consistent and on-track.

You will not be given a crazy diet program to follow; instead, we help you build habits that will get you results that last forever.

Break free of the “diet roller coaster”. We’re here to STRENGTHEN and EMPOWER you.

Q: Who is this type of nutrition coaching not for?
A:  It is not for figure or fitness models, professional bodybuilders, or high-level athletes training for a particular sport.

It’s also not for people who already have all the accountability they need.

If you rarely struggle with staying consistent with your exercise habits, then this is not a good choice for you.

Q: Will this style nutrition coaching work for me?
A: Want to lose weight? Eat better? Feel less stressed? Get more sleep?

If you follow our recommendations and stick with us for the full year then yes, you will get results.

If you participate in CSF’s Nutrition Coaching, do at least 80 percent of what we ask you to do, you’ll end up leaner, stronger, healthier, and happier with your body than you ever thought possible.

You don’t have to get it perfect. But you have to commit to making small, strategic changes in your life.

That’s something no one ever likes to admit about getting in better shape: It takes hard work, time, and determination.

Changing your body isn’t easy, but it is possible.

Once you make the commitment to get in better shape, we’ll be with you every step of the way. When life pushes you around and difficulties come up, we’ll help you push back.

We’ll stack the deck in your favor and give you every advantage we know of. Over the course of 12 months, you’ll learn everything you need to look, feel, and perform at your best.

That’s our commitment to you.  Want to see a sample exercise? Have a look.

It’s about communication. Connection. Trust. Learning. Guidance. Support.

Freedom to choose your own path.

Q: Do you give me a meal plan?
A: No, and yes.  Let me explain…

Meal plans from the start will not be a focus. People often feel like they’re either “on” them or “off” them. They feel like they’ve failed and are beyond hope if they’re not eating perfectly at every meal.  This approach is completely different: We help you build a set of sustainable habits that will serve you for the rest of your life.  This means you get to choose — with the help of your coach — which foods are best for you, when to eat those foods, and how much to eat of them.

Q: I’m a beginner with a lot of weight to lose. Will this work for me?
A: Yes. Remember, we were all beginners at some point. We will do our best to make sure all beginners work at a pace that’s comfortable for you.

Q: I’m NOT a beginner. Will CSF’s Nutrition Coaching work for me?

A: Yes, your interactions you have with your Pn1 coach are tailored to your needs and goals — it’s not a “one size fits all” program by any means.  Oftentimes, people with experience enjoy handing the reins for a while. Taking a step back and seeing if someone else can offer advice that will help them be “just a little bit better”.  When working on health goals, it is important to always keep learning.  Even our CSF coaches always keep reading and learning to continue to grow and develop.
Q: What if I don’t have much weight to lose but just want to eat better?
A: It’s great that you don’t have a lot of weight to lose. It means you’re starting out with a big advantage.

Of course, lifelong fitness and health are more than losing weight. With NBC you’ll learn how to maintain a healthy (and lean) body for life.  You’ll discover how it feels to be more physically capable, more confident, and stronger — inside, and out.  Take a moment and watch this.

–>Plus you’ll develop a new, healthier relationship to food and eating. And that’s something fewer than 5 percent of people know how to do.

We help you “keep it real”. And focus on what’s most important to YOU!

Q: I’m interested in building muscle. Is this for me?
A: Yes. We have custom exercise programming and nutrition habits specifically for people who want to gain muscle. Plus as you progress through your program your coach will work with you to help you achieve specific body composition goals.  If you are local and would like to come train at CSF, this is an option too.
Q: If I join CSF, what are my options?
A: We have several options available and your coach can help you decide what is best for you.  From Adult Team Training to 1:1 Return To Play/Personal Training and even program writing for those who wish to carry out the workouts on their own.  Something to know: We offer a loyalty member discount towards the program & those who do 1:1 training have options to join the program for free.
Q: I like to… (Play soccer, run, bike, swim, ski, walk my dog, etc). Can I still do the stuff I love while getting coaching?
A: Of course. Keep doing what you love. That’s the whole point—to learn how to eat and exercise in a way that works for you. Health and fitness should be fun, freeing and sustainable. It’s about helping you live a fuller life. So yes, if anything, the program will help you do more of the things you love. Once you get started, your coach will work with you to structure things in a way that works for your lifestyle.
Q: I already have a personal trainer. Can I keep that up while getting coaching with your Pn1 coach?
A: Yes, if you want to continue with both, that’ll work very well! In fact, I think with the NBC & your in-person coach, you’ll be unstoppable. Once you sign up, just let your coach know that you’re working with a local trainer and we’ll make sure to integrate the two.
Q: How long does the program run for?
A: The curriculum will last for 12 months. Based on the Precision Nutrition research, they’ve found a full year to be the most effective time period for building the habits necessary for lifelong health and fitness.

Our coaching team is committed to helping you make a life-changing transformation. That’s why we have everyone commit to the program for 12 months.  There is a complete system developed to evolve and committing for just a month or two will only scratch the surface of what you’ll be learning.  Yes, you can stop after a few months but once you start you are not going to want to.  You end up looking forward to signing into your course each morning.  Listening or reading what is available for you today.  It becomes a part of your routine.  Also, this is a commitment you are making to yourself from the day you decide you are doing this for you.  When things get tough, you have your coach to reach out to for support.

Let’s talk price!

In complete transparency.  We have been advised to offer 2 prices for this service. We are not going to do this route, but I’ll explain what others offer.  The 1st option would be $279/mo with a personal coach for you to connect with as needed including weekly zoom sessions and any extra support, suggestions and a complete custom experience. Option #2 that many offer for $179 is for the usage of the software platform alone with virtually no personal contact from your coach.   Here at CSF we did not like those options.

  • Those who joined our VIP list will receive a 10% discount code to use for the early launch.  (Members & Non-Members)
  • Nutrition Bootcamp Pricing $99 *
  • 1:1 Personal Training clients = Free
  • Members = $33 bi-weekly *
*Autopay during curriculum

Simple. Do-able. Realistic. One step at a time. We’re with you ALL the way.

Our Coaching is a different, better, and more fulfilling way to improve your body and live a good, healthy life. Eating, moving, and healthy living should be an extension of who you already are. It should bring joy. It should play nicely with everything else in your world. Above all, health and fitness should be simple, do-able, realistic, and manageable for your busy life.

We don’t tell you-you’re bad or lazy or broken or take stuff away from you. Or give you a bunch of rules you can’t (or don’t want to)follow. Instead, we help you to embrace your best self and add healthy, positive practices to your busy, real, and messy life.

One day at a time. One small step at a time.  Ready?
